One Year Ago today we found out that our lives were going to be blessed with a little boy. I will never forget the moment they told me it was a boy. After having 3 girls and feeling completely blessed.... I still had that yearning to be the mother of a son. Had he been a girl, we still would have been done having babies due to complications that always seem to come about when I am pregnant. His name would have been Zoey Renee.... BUT ALAS... A PENIS!!!! We immediately went to walmart and called Ali and Ju.... and then told my parents... We bought the cutest little BLUE things we could find... Chris picked up some "manly" items while I picked cute one piece sleep and plays that I liked! We even bought him a blue blanket with SPORTS balls on it! SO FUN! I always had this feeling during the pregnancy especially after having had the 2 miscarriages that something was going to take my son away from me. It felt too good to be true... and I still feel as if someone is going to take him from me.... but I am enjoying every single day of him and watching his relationship with his 3 big sisters evolve and grow... and change... and how he changes... and just everything... I am blessed... and I count my blessing every day...

That is definitely a BOY!!! :) The first thing JK did after finding out we were having a boy was call his brother...who has 4 girls!!!! :) JK would have been Peyton Blair. I still LOVE that name.......
