By Golly it is a gloomy day today. It is not raining like they forecasted but it is overcast outside and muggy. I went to bed last night about 945pm and didnt even want to get out of bed this morning. I ALSO took a nap.. probably the BEST sleep I have gotten in 6 months only to be woken up by Kiley screaming at the top of her lungs which in turn woke her baby brother up in his bed where he was sleeping so soundly. He did fall back to sleep but was doing his weird crying sniveling thingie. I do not know how to explain it. I was peeved... I have not been THAT asleep in a LONG time and it was WONDERFUL! CJ is covered in eye boogers and nose snot today. He woke up like that.. as you can see from the beauteous picture below. My poor baby probably lives MORE Days of his life like that vs. NOT like that. We were going to have a poker night with our neighbors tonite but it has been cancelled so I am a little bummed. Adult interaction is a WONDERFUL thing. I am going to be going to the store to buy a Superman cake pan. It is on clearance.. I am hoping to make it tonite for a GOOD purpose. More posts to come tomorrow regarding that. I have been working on our budget plan in hopes we can finagle a car loan somehow... if the bankruptcy people allow us to. When we did the bankruptcy gas was about 2.50 ish a gallon.. I went and got gas in our little malibu maxx today and the pump STOPPED before I had filled our little tank! WHY?!?! BECAUSE I REACHED the 50 dollar limit! What the heck! AND my tank wasnt even FILLED... so.. now 2 1/2 years in to our bankruptcy... our budget payback based on Texas stuff.... Cost of Living etc. and now living in Connecticut where Gas is more than 4.20 a gallon... we should hopefully be able to lower our monthly payments maybe? Ah.. whatever... all this budget work better pay off!

We went to our community pool for the first time yesterday even though it was only 70ish degrees outside... but the girls were THRILLED.... and the baby... well.. as long as I did not dip his body any more than to his belly.. he was ok... he fell asleep on daddy's shoulder when we were all drying up... woke up a bit.. and by the time we returned home... he looked like this! SO sweet.. had to wake him up to get him in dry clothing. So, he has had his first pool experience! Today he is a little rashed up above his privates so I am wondering if it is the diapers, the little swimmers.. or the weather.

NOW... I tried to get some good pictures of what the title of this post was all about... I will share this one with you cause it is SO cute... I do not think you can see it but he was reaching for a bubble. I love experience the first time things with all my kids and watching them and getting this soaring feeling in my heart and gut... but not uttering anything... it is amazing. He was so quiet and just watching the bubbles floating at first... then he tried grabbing them. Ashley made for a good bubble blower.... so mommy could snap some pics...
WARNING... WOMAN WITH LARGE CHEST in pic below! YUCK....Here I am sharing my son's first moments in a swimming pool with him. In Navy Housing we have community pools that we are allowed to utilize during the summer months. I was shocked how many people were there this early in the season. The water wasnt bad... and was probably warmer than the air....

IT is so gloomy this morning. Our softball game was cancelled. I am internally excited that we did not have to head out to the ball field this am. .... now we might walk to the local restaurant down the street.... hoping rain doesnt get us...

Okay, can I just say my CJ's eyes look like that just about every morning too. They have gotten lots better. I mentioned it to his doctor when I was thinking allergies and she said it was just his blocked tear ducts. Hmmmm, and here I thought that had cleared up. When he was around a month old it was just awful for him.
Well, it looks like you had a good day. I'm going to post about mine on my blog in a few.
BTW, what are you doing June 8th?
