We have this field in the area which used to have an old hotel on it. They knocked that hotel down and the field was mainly used by people letting their dogs run a bit... then the military decided that the parking area was going to be used to store people's campers and boats and trailers and cars and etc. Well, this lot was also the place a lady abandoned her brand new baby and called the police to come and pick it up... they figured out who she was and she was active duty and lived down the street from us... grrr... anyways... it was awful knowing that that poor baby was laying in a yucky abandoned automobile by itself.... but whatever... we would let the girls ride their bicycles in this lot because it is the safest place.. or was the safest place for them to ride... but isnt any longer due to all the suspicious people that drive in and out of there. There is now water pipe work or something going on and they keep on dumping all of this dirt out on that field near our house. So, today after school we asked the girls if they wanted to go play on the piles and OF COURSE they wanted to! So, off to make a yucky mess in the rain they went! They had an AWESOME time... and there isnt anything like being a child...
