Grandma Update

She is still hanging in there... She has been mumbling stuff that is not understandable. She "talked" on the phone with her friend Marguerite. She uttered my mother's name. She will be getting some sort of feeding tube put in today as she is not able to swallow any longer. They do not know which kind to put in. My mother is struggling with making all of these decisions as her brother is not being supportive or understanding. He just barks orders from South Carolina and never shows any compassion towards his mother (my grandmother). If it were up to him, a pillow over the face would be an easy solution. He sees a big fat check at the end of all of this... he doesnt visit my grandmother... his children dont visit my grandmother... but they sure as hell will be at the funeral weeping and wahhing.... and keeping their hand out for the money they get for all the "love" they have shown my grandmother over the years.... or not... my mother has provided my grandmother and grandfather 24 hour care... taken them to all thier appointments, made them their meals... sat at their bedsides at their worst times... brought them to do thier favorite things at thier best times... its all horrible...
