Some time at the park....

In Navy Housing we have these little playgrounds set randomly throughout the housing developments. In all honesty, we do not take as much advantage of them as we should. You are actually more likely to see us on the playground up by the "Officers/Chiefs" housing playground. It is WAY COOLER! HAHAH!

Anyways, I took the girls to the playground for about 20 minutes today to enjoy the early spring weather. OF course, all 3 girls said "OUCH" at some point during our visit!! Ashley threw herself down a slide and has an awesome bruise accompanied by a nice abrasion, Kiley has a bit of a fat lip from her sisters teaching her to break the rules and climb up the slide the wrong way.. and Sydney was running from the bottom of the slide to go back to the ladder for another run and locked her knee too far back. They all managed to make it out ok though! Also, Sydney was on the "tire" swing and I was swinging her around and she said it was giving her a headache... Mommy should know better... as a headache could make me give her a seizure! Wouldnt that be fun!!! We want her to "outgrow" this disorder, get off the EFMP (Exceptional Family Member Program) so we can go somewhere super cool like Hawaii for our next duty station! Right now we are CONUS due to her medical issues (Continental United States)

So, we are now looking forward to many more visits to the playground this spring and summer to release all of this pent up winter frustrations!
