BECAUSE we do NOT even have any cats anymore.... and I tell ya, as much as I LOVED my kitties, it is SO nice to not have them here.
Anyways, back on subject. I took CJ in to the pediatrician once again! I think I need a standing appointment time at the naval clinic for my family. I swear we go there at LEAST one time every two weeks, if not more.
The good news is that I FINALLY got a referral for CJ to go to a dermatologist. YAHOOOOO! I have been waiting for this day for oh, four and a half months! haha!
So, I can call tomorrow to try and see who the dermatologist is and set up an appointment. I am hoping it is with the same one that Kiley was referred to for her weird spider bite thingie on her leg. He weighed in at 17lbs 3oz with some clothing on, so lets just say he weighs about 17lbs! I did NOT stop and get his 4 month shots today either (OOPS!)
I was given a prescription for Zantac (ranitidine) but after researching it some and speaking to other mothers with experience I will not be giving it to him for a multitude of reasons.
If I think he isnt starting to get over the reflux in the next couple of days, I am going to opt for some rice cereal mixed with my breastmilk. (yum huh?!)
So. That was a GOOD appointment for once! I was taken right back to the room to be seen, didnt even have to sit in the waiting room, saw the doc super quick, went to the pharmacy, signed in for our prescriptions, went to referrals, Kiley had to go to the bathroom, went to the bathroom, went back to referrals, that was all squared away, went and sat back in pharmacy and WOW! it was all ready in MINUTES! I think I have set a Navy Clinic RECORD! They should put my picture on the wall right under the Commander in Chief! LMAO!
