ugh. I was getting the baby something to eat before going down for a nap and he was toddling around the kitchen. Next thing I know I heard the gas on the stove clicking and turned around and he had actually lit the burner! The bag immediately went up in to flames!!! I threw it in the sink and firmly told him he could not touch the stove (As much as a 16 month could understand)
I hurt his feelings.. B A D ...
but, he has to know it isnt ok to burn your house down!
I pulled all the knobs off... and have to search for some of the knob covers I used to have a long time ago. I thought I had saved them but I guess I didnt! Scary to think of how fast he went over and actually got the burner to light.
This boy is definitely giving me a run for my money!

Good thing you were right there. So far my CJ is just interested in banging on the stove. He doesn't actually try to touch the knobs. I wish I had an electric stove where the knobs aren't where he can reach them though.
