Well, CJ will be getting a referral to see an eye doctor to have his eye(s?) dilated and looked at. I do not know how the eye doctor will do it with a 1 year old but, we shall see. Anyways... the reason for him going is because in some pictures, his "red eye" is white in his left eye. It seems to be when he is always looking in one certain direction. The doctor he saw today only quickly looked but you cant really see much in a general practitioners office He made comments about CJ when he saw the pictures about it being "Alien"... this guy is funny, so he meant it without insult. And I told him that CJ wins the "Freak of the Week" prize! LOL! So, the doctor thinks that it will end up being some benign anomoly (sp?) and he will send us to the eye doc for peace of mind. I am not 100% comfortable still because the visit was brief and the pics are so weird. I will definitely keep you all posted. (I dont think there are any readers left out there!)
I have been a bad blogger because I just always feel like a Debbie Downer. It is the holidays and it is supposed to be the "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" yet, it doesnt feel that way. My parents are officially moved to Florida. My sister is still in Rhode Island so she isnt too far away. But, I just cant stand the cold. Part of the reason we moved up to the northeast instead of somewhere super cool like Hawaii or San Diego or something was that my parents were here and they could be involved in the girls lives... and it didnt happen that way.
I have a vehicle now that can fit our family but we have not had the time nor the money to do anything fun yet!! All I want to do is go to Red Robin . I guess I will have to wait until after the New Year. Like I need to eat that crap.
I am still doing Jazzercise and I can tell it is working. I am below 200 lbs now. GO ME! I got a good jump start on losing weight when I got Strep Throat *AGAIN* this year.... so, I hope to keep the weight below the 200 mark!!! I am actually really enjoying it and since I have to pay to go, I feel obligated to get there!!! BUT I AM LOVING it....
We have had every type of illness run through this house in since October 30th.. YES I KNOW the date it all started... We have not had a break since. We babysat some kids on Friday night and well, the dad was puking ALL Day yesterday so... I guess we should get the buckets ready (AGAIN).... cause that stuff spreads like wildfires. UGh....

I have a picture of my CJ's eye like that actually. It could just be the way the flash is reflecting off of his eye. I don't think it's anything to worry about. I'm sure he's fine ;).
he actually has a bunch of pictures like that. It is when he is looking a certain way. And of course when you google something... you get the worst case scenario. So, we will be following up for my peace of mind and sanity!
Well, perhaps I'm just being the Devil's Advocate here, but it seems pretty common. The doctor didn't see anything when he looked, right? I think I've had pictures of the girls eyes like that too. It just so happens that you catch his eye at the right angle maybe. Just trying to ease your fears I guess because I do have pictures of my kids eyes looking like that. The joy of blue eyes ;). And sometimes I think that red eye reducer on cameras makes the red eye worse.
