Chris's sister Mel and her husband Lupe had the adoption of their son Eloy finalized today!! This has been a long awaited day for Mel and Lupe especially with everything going on with Betty who is still not doing well at all in the Burn Unit at UC Davis. She is still in a comatose state. Why, we dont know. She is still on a ventilator as well and it has been almost a month. But, in all the darkest days, their is light... and Eloy has brought light to the family.
Not only was Eloy adopted today.... but on August 11th, our nephew Curtis's girlfriend gave birth to a little girl Hailey. So, that makes us GREAT AUNT AND UNCLE! AHHH! WOW! Making Chris's brother a GRANDPA!!!! Our family has grown by leaps and bounds this week....
