OUR BABY IS CURED!
but here are some going on's
It has been a SUPER long time since I even attempted a detailed update.
Sydney had her Catheterization with Ablation done this week. She did AWESOME. She is such a trooper and a brave little girl. I think the worst part for her was getting her pre-op blood drawn. The spot where there was the issue with the Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome was at a hard angle to reach to do the ablation so they had to use the heat vs. the freezing. I guess the freezing is better for permanant cure... but the percentage is only 15% vs. 10% recurrance... ah well. Oh, and the spot... in addition to being a tough reach.. once they reached it and had to purposely induce a racing heart, it took little to NO prodding to get it to go. It was on the flap in the right side of her heart. So, I guess she was a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. She was discharged shortly after the procedure because she had done so well. Me, I was so nervous wheeling her back to the hotel. Like I wasnt supposed to have her with us yet... that she wasnt ready... but it was ME who was not ready. She ate like a horse that night! She ate a 6 inch meatball and cheese from subway. She had a drink from Dairy Queen. When she was done with dinner she got a strawberry shortcake dessert from Dairy Queen and then later in the hotel room she ate most of Kiley's Oreo Blizzard! She certainly deserved the right to eat all of that food!!! We left the hotel the following day to return home. She should be going back to the cardiologist in 2 months. and then again in a year. Should everything be ok. It was crazy to see how things could be much "worse" seeing all the children up at Boston Children's hospital. We saw a little guy with Progeria in the hotel restaurant. There were so many children in the cardiology pre-op anticipating procedures and surgeries the same day as Sydney. One of the parents in the waiting room while our children were in having catheterizations... thier child was in having thier 17th one done. They "think" it was the 17th. they have lost count. Another girl was getting ready for her 7th one. We talked with a bunch of wonderful parents and it was nice to not feel like the only one who was struggling with the anticipation of what was going to happen. But, we made it out ok... Sydney would do gymnastics today if we let her. She seems to have gotten pink eye... which is just the 3rd of the children to have it in a week!
This is the Old Heart Rythym on the top line ^
New and Improved Heart Rythym! YAY!
I took Ashley to the ER tonite. She has strep throat. She had pink eye last week on Halloween.
Kiley had pink eye last week and is being Kiley. As Always. She is so hard.. yet so cute at the same time. Cant STAND it.
CJ, I brought him to the clinic today because he has been M I S E R A B L E. COMPLETELY! UGH! his ears were bulging and a bit red so we got some antibiotics for him.
Sydney pulled out a tooth tonite. Guess the tooth fairy will be coming.... Ah.... why couldnt the anesthesiologist just pulled them out like they thought there were going to have to.... geesh.
I have been a Jazzercising fool... I REALLY Enjoy it. I work my behind off too... sure, I am a bumbling idiot most of the time... but it is GOOD for me and I hope to god I see results in a month. I am in the Forever Fit program and I WANT RESULTS! LOL!
So, that is it in a nutshell. I have to get this house CLEAN this weekend. TOP to BOTTOM. We can NOT have another winter like last winter was. It was NON STOP and our cabinet looked like a pharmacy once spring came. That CANT happen again. It Just Cant'
So, stay away from those Bell kidlets... you are sure to catch something. Geesh....
