I had to bring CJ to his 4 month well baby appointment. I swear the clinic should really just have an open slot for the Bell Family. I was there yesterday with both Sydney and Kiley and have to bring both of them back next week for their follow up appointments.
CJ weighed in at 16lbs 6oz. His weight has slowed down in the gaining. It makes me nervous that he isnt getting enough milk from me but the doctor did not seem concerned. I know he is getting my milk, because I can hear him swallowing. He was 26 inches in length also! So he has grown ALOT since he was born! 4 1/2 inches and 7.6 lbs! He was in the 75th percentile for his head circumfrence and his weight and his height was in the 90th! Tall and lean like daddy!
The ped was not concerned about him not rolling over yet. He gets so angry when he is on his belly. And she saw how quickly he got frustrated with being on his belly. Maybe likely due to his reflux is my opinion! His Excema is still flaring pretty bad. I have to get better about being on top of lubing his entire body up every 2 hours. I just get nervous about using too much hydrocortisone and the Elidel. I use that SUPER sparingly but I do lube him with the moisturel and the Eucerin. I think I will need to pick up some Aquaphor. I have never had to deal with these issues with any of the girls.
The cutest thing happened today... Kiley was playing with her baby dolls and I was showing him her baby dolls. HE LOVED IT!!! He was smiling and cooing at it. And was upset when he couldnt see it! I suppose it has to do with him seeing baby faces! He is so cute even when he is so angry and I would not change it for the world.
So, I am so proud of myself because I have made it for four months with exclusive breastfeeding. I only pumped a bit for Kiley when she was in the NICU and Ashley and Sydney were strictly on formula. I am so glad that as I grow older, I become less naive and more able to make decisions that I will not regret.

Hey Erin,
Check out picture trail for posting pictures here. It's really neat. That's where I got the spinning glass thing on mine.
CJ sounds like he's doing great. 4 pounds bigger than my CJ and 2 1/2 inches longer too ;). He should start slowing down in the growing the older he gets. Especially since he'll become more active. Did the doctor mention anything about starting him on any other foods at all yet?
